Show People How You Feel About Them

Isaac: "You've never told him, have you?"
Casey: "No."
Isaac: "Why?"
Casey: "I don't know."
Isaac: "You gotta learn to show people how you feel about them, Casey."
Casey: "Why do I have to prove it to him?"
Isaac: "Because he feels like a consolation prize."
Casey: "He's not."
Isaac: "Tell him. So you say a few words, you make a gesture, you remember an important date. Small price to pay for what you get in return. For what you get in return, it's a steal. The rest is all vanity."

In Love

Danny: "We don't need to do it now but at some point I'm going to need you to level with me about Harriet. I need to know how big a problem it's going to be."
Matt: "It's not going to be a problem at all."
Danny: "It will if you're in love with her."
Matt: "I'm not. I'm not. Danny! I love her talent. The woman's got millions of fans, but there are maybe fifty guys in town who really understand how good she is, and we're two of them. That's all, I admire her. I'm knocked out by her talent. [pause] I like it when she makes me laugh, and I like making her laugh, which isn't an easy thing to do, so it's gratifying. She's undeniably sexy. I like it when she smiles at me, and a couple of other things, but that's it."
Danny: "Oh my god, we are so screwed."
Matt: "I know."

One at a Time

"Only one of us can screw up at a time and I think we both know that most of the time it's going to be me. You're the big shoulders." - Matthew Perry as Matt Albie in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
